Return Policy:

Special Orders: Any item designated as “Special Order” cannot be cancelled once it has been placed on order, and cannot be returned regardless of the circumstances.

Warranty: The Tread Depot does not offer any warranty on the products it sells. All items are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty only. Credit for defective merchandise will only be issued once the product is inspected and the claim approved by the manufacturer. Unless the manufacturer agrees to cover it, all return shipping for warranty items is the responsibility of the customer.

Labor Warranty: All products sold and installed by The Tread Depot include labor warranty for as long as the manufacturer warranty is in effect. There is no labor warranty on customer-supplied parts installed by The Tread Depot. 

Returns: 

  • Returns for products purchased directly on our website, can be made within 10 days of receiving the order if:
  • Products arrive from The Tread Depot, to the customer, either broken or damaged.
  • Contents of the shipment arriving from The Tread Depot are incorrect.
  • All Returned items must be packaged with all original contents and MUST BE UNINSTALLED AND IN NEW CONDITION.
  • All “Close-out” items are FINAL SALE, and may NOT be returned.
  • Special Order items may not be returned.

All Other Returns Must be in New, Uninstalled Condition, & Eligible for resale, and will be subject to a 20% Restocking Fee. 

Please note that the original shipping cost will not be refunded. If an item was purchased with Free Shipping, The Tread Depot still paid for shipping on that item, and that portion will not be refunded.

Assembled Items- Assembly Labor is not refundable, coilover assembles in which the springs have been installed are considered ineligible for return.

Items that are Damaged during an installation are NOT returnable, Professional installation is recommended. Likewise, if you install a damaged part, it is not returnable, and must be replaced under warranty if applicable.

Cancellations: Orders that have been paid for, but not shipped, will be assessed a 5% cancellation fee. This cancellation fee covers credit card transaction fees that are not refunded to The Tread Depot once an order has been placed by a customer on the website.

Special order items cannot be returned under any circumstances. Returned items must be in new, unused, re-sellable condition, with all pieces included. All returns are subject to approval by The Tread Depot. All return shipping is the responsibility of the customer - all return shipments must be insured, and any loss/damage claims must be filed by the customer. The Tread Depot will not accept returns on: digital items, coilovers, electronics, engine internals, turbochargers, superchargers, and turbocharger kits. When approved for inspection, a return will be issued a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number which must be clearly noted on the shipping waybill and packaging. Any incoming shipments without an RMA number will be refused. Items that are approved for return and sent back within 10 days of delivery will not be charged a restocking fee. After 10 days, accepted returns are subject to a fee consisting of 20% of the item cost. A $25 repackaging fee will be applied to any returns without acceptable packaging.

Refused Shipments: If a shipment is refused and is returned to The Tread Depot by the carrier, the customer will be billed any return shipment fees as well as the cost to resend the shipment. This includes shipments where the carrier is unable to deliver after multiple attempts.

Damage Claims/Shipment Shortages: All damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of the shipment. The Tread Depot will provide all necessary documentation, but the customer must initiate all claims. The recipient must keep all packing materials so the carrier can investigate them. The Tread Depot accepts zero responsibility for customers who misplace or discard the packaging of a damaged shipment. After reporting the loss/damage with the carrier, contact The Tread Depot immediately with pictures of the damaged item(s) and packaging to proceed with the claim.

Off-Road Use Only Products and Emissions Regulation: Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all products sold by The Tread Depot, LLC are designated Off-Road/Racing Use Only and are solely for competition/off road use limited to racing formally sanctioned by a recognized racing organization. Any other use, including recreational off-road use, may be in violation of local, state, and Federal laws. The Tread Depot does not implicitly or explicitly confirm the legality of using any products it sells on public roads; that is entirely the responsibility of the consumer. The Tread Depot tries to make this information available whenever possible, but when in doubt, clients should review the legality of products prior to purchase.

Manufacturer’s Policies: Certain manufacturers have policies on advertising, sales, and pricing which must be adhered to. As a dealer for these brands, The Tread Depot is obligated to enforce these policies.

Pricing: Prices are always subject to change without notice, and pricing errors are not the responsibility of The Tread Depot. If a pricing error occurs, we will either refund the order in full, or give the client the option to pay the difference. Discounts are based on initial purchase and can be changed at any time at The Tread Depot’s discretion.
